Eligibility

Services are provided to Cache, Box Elder, and Rich Counties residents. People of all ages who have physical, sensory, cognitive, or mental disability are invited to participate in Center activities. Eligibility for some services is based on economic need, however, most independent living programs/services are available to all people with disabilities at no cost.

Fees

Most services are no cost. Community integration program members pay fees for some activities (dinner, movies, and community events.) Donations are suggested for transportation to community events.

A non-residential center for independent living serves people of all ages and disabilities, focusing on empowering individuals to control their lives and reduce dependence on others. Services are demand-driven, provided upon the consumer's request, and aim to facilitate full community participation and understanding of disability issues. In addition to five core services, the center offers various support programs, including transportation, assistive technology loans, support groups, social clubs, peer networking, disability rights groups, special education referrals, in-home habilitation programs, and ADA implementation assistance.
