A municipal police department that provides law enforcement services to many cities and towns in Salt Lake County. It allows communities to have comprehensive police services at a lower cost than establishing and maintaining their police force. The communities served by the department include Brighton, Copperton, Holladay, Emigration Canyon, Kearns, Magna, Midvale, Millcreek, and White City. Each precinct provides medication disposal receptacles and crime victim support services.
