Provides a rent payment assistance program for families. Families approved for rent payment must have the ability to pay future rent payments. Assistance is available up to $2000 and applies to future rent only.

Providing organization

Family Promise Salt Lake
One-of-a-kind, non-congregate, short-term, family shelter and transitional housing that uses resources provided by local churches. Families must apply to the emergency shelter program. Upon acceptance, each family is assigned a case manager, set goals, and enrolled in budgeting and life skills classes. Upon successful completion of the emergency shelter program, families have the opportunity to enroll in the transitional housing program. Pets are not allowed.
