Applicant must have combined household income at or below 80% of AMI, has qualified for unemployment, or experiencing a reduction in household income or financial hardship, reside in the household and be named on the lease. All circumstances must be related to COVID-19 and verifiable. Citizenship or legal status documentation is not required to receive assistance. NOTE: Some eligibility changes are coming; if those in need don't believe qualifications can be met, please apply anyway.

Application process

Apply online and be as detailed as possible; this will move the process along more quickly. For those who do not have computer/internet access or skills, please call the local community action agency for assistance; no walk-ins. Allow at least two weeks for funding before follow up; if any additional documentation/information is needed, applicant will be contacted. Following up sooner will clog processes. Landlords applying on behalf of tenant who need assistance, please send email to the address noted.
