Eligibility

Families going through an unexpected crisis. Household must have a child under 18, or a pregnant woman in third trimester. Household income at or below 200% federal poverty level or currently receiving public assistance.

Provides rent payment assistance through Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). Provides short-term cash assistance to families with children. While in the program individuals will work toward attaining economic self-sufficiency through job preparation and job search.

Cottages of Hope
Helps increase the financial stability of low-to-moderate income households through obtaining a livable wage and learning basic financial principles. Provides financial literacy training, personal financial counseling, resume preparation, job finding assistance and career development. Assists with birth certificate and ID card fee payments, tax preparation, and small business development. Ex-offender reentry programs also available. Walk-ins are welcome during hours listed, but the receptionist is not always on duty to take phone calls.
