Eligibility

Flights are generally for passengers who can't afford airline tickets, or who travel by or by commercial airline would pose a physical hardship. Passengers must be medically stable and mobile. A medical released signed by a physician is required before the trip.

A network of private pilots uses their own or rented planes to transport passengers with compelling needs. Reasons for flights include transportation for medical transport, transplant recipients, compassion, specialty camps, domestic violence relocation, assistance for military personnel, blood, organ, and tissue donations, and disaster response. Generally, one week's notice is required before a flight and the general trip distance limit is 1,000 miles with some exceptions.
