Offers clerical volunteer opportunities for front desk volunteers and housing support volunteers. Volunteers at the front desk greet and direct all walk ins and phone calls to appropriate staff members, and gain a large amount of client interaction, gaining practice communicating with diverse populations to find shared understanding, while learning about the various offered programs. Housing support volunteers will support the housing team to assemble furniture at the IRC warehouse, ensuring the availability of furniture to set up the homes of new refugee families.
