Inspectors observe kitchen workers’ food handling practices, inspect refrigerators and storage areas, take food temperatures, and ensure the correct use of sanitizers and handwashing practices. The bureau also regulates temporary food events (booths) and temporary mass gatherings. Provides food safety education to business owners, community organizations, and the general public.
