Application process
The baby should be dropped off at a hospital that is open 24 hours a day. The infant should be left with a hospital worker wearing proper identification or a name badge.

Utah law allows birth parents to anonymously give up custody of their newborn child without facing any legal consequences. Any Utah hospital is designated as a Safe Haven for newborns to be dropped off safely. DCFS then places the child for an immediate adoption.
