Fees

Fee of $50 and the license is good for 30 days and includes 2 certified copies. Each additional copy is $6. Generally, 2 copies are sufficient. Certified copies may be used for name changes. Accepts cash, check, and credit cards.

Marriage licenses can be obtained from the County Clerk's Office. Both parties must appear in person with proper identification and proof of age to sign the application. All marriage licenses are valid for ceremonies performed anywhere in the State of Utah within 30 days of issuance. If the license is not used, return it to the Clerk's Office. Do not destroy it. Refunds or extensions not available.
