Provides family consultation for parent or guardian of child in Apex autism services. Provides parent training embedded with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). ACT is an approach designed to equip parents with practical skills and strategies to enhance their parenting abilities. ACT is a mindfulness-based therapeutic approach rooted in ABA that focuses on acceptance, mindfulness, and commitment to behavior change.
