Presentations are made to local community groups and schools in the Alpine, Provo and Nebo districts. No cost, district-approved information is presented to preschool through high school students. Topics for younger children include personal safety and sexual abuse prevention. Topics for older students or community groups include dynamics of abuse, dating violence, stress management, depression & suicide prevention and positive child guidance.

Provides navigators/certified application counselors to help clients understand, apply, and enroll in health coverage through the Affordable Care Act and programs such as Medicaid and CHIP.

The class runs for 8 weeks. If childcare is needed during the class, call the Nursery Coordinator in advance to schedule time. In-home parenting classes are also available for those who cannot attend the class at the center. Both parenting courses meet the requirements for court orders.

Youth Enhancement of Social Skills (YESS) teaches topics on communication, teamwork, expressing emotions, safety, and peer relations. Other children currently enrolled in therapy at an alternative agency will be considered with a referral from their current therapist, however, priority will be given to agency clients.

Provides crisis care to children 0-11 years of age. Due to restrictions, the Crisis Respite Nursery is unable to provide service to children with severe physical, medical, or mental disabilities.

Assessments offered are autism diagnosis, mental health assessments for children, parent and child relationship assessments.

Provides assessments for Autism, AD/HD, toilet training, sleeping and eating issues. Also, offer psychological testing to determine developmental and intellectual functioning. The Taylorsville office offers early Autism assessments with ADOS.

Offers EEG-Neurofeedback brain training to help those with attention problems, anxiety, post-trauma reactivity, migraines, seizures, learning disabilities, head injury recovery, and other brain involved problems.
