Behavior specialists identify and evaluate the causes of problem behaviors for individuals who may have a range of developmental disabilities, backgrounds of abuse and neglect, and mental health diagnoses. Specialists then work with the individual, the family, and other supports to develop strategies to prevent, minimize, and/or eliminate problem behaviors. Specialists also develop and recommend interventions and teach skills to help the individual be successful in their home and community. Hands on training to families and teams is provided to ensure that behavior interventions benefit and support the family as well as the individual.

These programs focus on developing essential life skills, including cooking, grooming, personal finances, shopping, home maintenance, and community involvement through sports and recreation, transportation training, cultural events, and continuing education. Group homes provide evening, morning, and overnight staff for those requiring intensive medical or other specialized support. Group homes are located in Box Elder, Davis, Weber, Salt Lake, Utah, Iron and Washington Counties. Supervised living in apartments or small homes can provide up to 24-hour supervision and support. Supported Community Living provides hourly support in client's own home. Offered in Provo, St George, Cedar City. Richfield does not have group homes but they do offer supported living.

Trained professionals assist clients with finding and retaining employment. Provides job-based training, on-site job coaching, and orientation and training assistance. Takes a personalized approach to find employment that suits the individual and their needs/abilities.
